I’m Sarah. I’m an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Boston. My research explores how the early environment shapes child development. I am particularly interested in connections between early life stress, socioeconomic disadvantage, and the development of a system known as the microbiome-gut-brain axis. In my free time, I like to bake, read, do yoga, and hang out with my cats.
